The most effective method to Check CPU Speed

Your CPU speed decides how quick your procedure can perform assignments. CPU speeds matter short of what they did previously, on account of the appearance of multi-center processors. All things considered, it can be valuable to check your CPU speed when acquiring another program to ensure that your PC can deal with it. It's likewise extremely valuable to know how to check the CPU's actual speed when you're overclocking for better execution.

Platforms : Windows - Windows (Overclocked CPU) - Android

Platform 1 : Windows

10 Second Summary

1. Click the Start menu.

2. Click Settings.

3. Click System.

4. Click About.
5. Find the CPU speed next to "Processor."

1
Open the System window. There are several ways that you can open this window quickly.
  • Windows 7, Vista, XP - Right-click on Computer/My Computer in the Start menu and select "Properties". In Windows XP, you may need to click the "General" tab after selecting "Properties".
  • Windows 8 - Right-click on the Start button and select "System".
  • All Versions - Press  Win+Pause.

2
Find the "Processor" entry. This will be located in the "System" section, beneath the Windows edition.

Note the processor speed. Your processor model and speed will be displayed. The speed is measured in gigahertz (GHz). This is the speed of a single core of your processor. If your processor has multiple cores (most modern processors do), each core will be this speed.

4
Check how many cores your processor has. If you have a multi-core processor, the number of cores will not be displayed in this window. Multiple cores does not necessarily mean the programs will run faster, but it can be a big boost for programs designed for it.
  • Press  Win+R to open the Run dialog box.
  • Type dxdiag and press  Enter. Click Yes if prompted to check your drivers.
  • Find the "Processor" entry in the System tab. If your computer has multiple cores, you'll see the number in parentheses after the speed (e.g. 4 CPUs). This will let you know how many cores you have. Each core runs at approximately the same speed (there will always be very minor variations).

2 : Windows (Overclocked CPU)

Overclocked CPUs are processors that have had their voltages altered to create more power. Overclocking is well known among PC devotees, as it enables you to get all the more value for your money, however it can possibly harm your segments.

1
Download and install CPU-Z. This is a freeware utility that monitors the components in your computer. It is designed for overclockers, and will report the exact speed that your processors are operating at. You can download it from Here
  • CPU-Z will not install any adware or toolbars during the setup process.

2
Run CPU-Z. By default, there will be a shortcut on your desktop to start CPU-Z. You will need to be logged in as an administrator, or have the administrator password in order to run it.

3
Start a CPU-intensive task on your computer. Your processor will automatically slow down when it isn't being used, so the speeds you see in CPU-Z will not show the full speed unless your processor is working hard.
  • A quick way to get your CPU maxed-out is to run the Prime95 program. this is a program designed to calculate prime numbers, and is used by many to perform stress tests on a computer. Download Prime95 from mersenne.org/download/https://www.mersenne.org/download/#download, unzip the program files, and select "Just Stress Testing" when you run the program.

4
Check your CPU speed. Your current CPU speed will be displayed in the "Core Speed" field of the CPU tab. Expect to see minor fluctuations as your computer processes the Prime95 program.

Platform 3 : Android

3
Check your CPU speed. Your current CPU speed will be displayed in the "Core Speed" field of the CPU tab. Expect to see minor fluctuations as your computer processes the Prime95 program.

Video for how to set up a DNS servers for windows 7

Free list Of Public DNS Servers

Updated List of Publicly Available and Completely Free DNS Servers

Most of the time, your ISP automatically assigns a primary and secondary DNS server when your router or computer requests network information via DHCP.

But what if those ISP-provided DNS servers aren't working properly or they block certain sites?
Luckily there are several free DNS servers that you can use instead of the ones assigned to you, the most popular and reliable of which you can find below.
See How Do I Change DNS Servers? for help if you're not sure what to do.

Free & Public DNS Servers (Updated September 2014)

Provider Primary DNS Server Secondary DNS Server
Level31 209.244.0.3 209.244.0.4
Google2 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4
Comodo Secure DNS 8.26.56.26 8.20.247.20

DNS.WATCH11 84.200.69.80 84.200.70.40
Hurricane Electric12 74.82.42.42
puntCAT13 109.69.8.51
[1] The DNS servers listed above as Level3 will automatically route to the nearest DNS server operated by Level3 Communications, the company that provides most of the ISPs in the US their access to the Internet backbone.

Note: Primary DNS servers are sometimes called preferred DNS servers and secondary DNS servers are sometimes called alternate DNS servers. Primary and secondary DNS servers can be "mixed and matched" to provide another layer of redundancy.

How to Download and Install Google Chrome

Google Chrome is a lightweight browser that is free to download for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Android, and iOS. Follow this guide to get it downloaded and installed on your system of choice.

Method 1 of 2: Downloading Chrome For PC/Mac/Linux

Download Google Chrome Step 1 preview.jpg

  1. Go to the Google Chrome website. You can use any web browser to download Google Chrome. If you haven’t installed a browser, you can use your operating system’s preinstalled web browser (Internet Explorer for Windows and Safari for Mac OS X).

  2. Download Google Chrome Step 2 preview.jpg

Click "Download Chrome". This will open the Terms of Service window.
  3. Download Google Chrome Step 3 preview.jpg

Determine if you want Chrome as your default browser. If you set it as the default browser, it will open whenever a link for a webpage is clicked in another program, such as email.
    • You can opt to send usage data back to Google by checking the box labeled “Help make Google Chrome better…” This will send back crash reports, preferences and button clicks. It does not send any personal information or track websites.

Download Google Chrome Step 4 preview.jpg

  4. Click “Accept and Install” after reading the Terms of Service. The installer will start and you will have Google Chrome installed when it has finished. Depending on your browser settings, you may need to allow the program to run.
Download Google Chrome Step 5 preview.jpg

  5. Sign in to Chrome. After installing, a Chrome window will open showing first time use information. You can sign in with your Google account to sync bookmarks, preferences, and browsing history with any Chrome browser that you use. Read how to use Google Chrome for some tips on your new browser.
  6.   Download the offline installer (optional). These steps are for installing Chrome on a computer with an active internet connection. If you want to download an offline installer to use on a computer without an active connection, search for "chrome offline installer" in your favorite search engine and follow the first link to the Chrome support site. You will be able to download the offline installers from this page.
    • There is one installer for single users, and one for all users on the computer. Make sure that you download the appropriate installer.
    • Once the installer is downloaded, transfer it to the computer you want to install it on and run it to install Chrome much like you would any downloaded program.

Method 2 of 2: Downloading Chrome on Your Mobile Device
